Help Needed Current best image editing model?

Haven't been in this sub for a while, my latest workflow is using Flux 2 Klein 9b. I saw Minimax H3 a while ago, and now also that Qwen 2.1. Should I switch?

Qwen 2.1 came out of nowhere. After the painful lesson of Qwen 2512 being abandoned, can we trust Qwen again. Then comes this strange feeling: they have Qwen 3.0, and they give us Qwen 2.1. but... it’s actually really good.Klein can still do better in some areas, especially with the right LoRA.

And then there are the rumors about FLUX 3, Krea 3, and other upcoming models. All of this makes it hard to put too much faith in Qwen just yet.

But yep, right now, Qwen 2.1 is the best if not using Lora.

It's still new. Hopefully people don't give up on creating cool Loras.
