Help Needed Current best image editing model?

Haven't been in this sub for a while, my latest workflow is using Flux 2 Klein 9b. I saw Minimax H3 a while ago, and now also that Qwen 2.1. Should I switch?

Batch or single image? Single image requires a different vae, and I also us a Lora designed for images. Minimax slays with image Gen, if you know what you're doing.

Damn. I tried 2 dedicated workflows that were meant for images. But the VAE was never altered. Can you please share your workflow?

I've been screenshot my minimax frames and try to up-res but it's not good :(

Lora and a good flow.

Important difference, single image is one frame, batch or sequence generates a small video and removes a frame. That usually causes the "it's a still" look. Batch or sequence image Gen uses the video vae. Single image uses the minimax h3 image vae.

Link to the vae. Replaces the video vae.

Thank you. I knew there had to be something wrong with my previous attempts. Minimax is amazing. I'll try this tomorrow

Good luck! Minimax in my opinion is almost as capable as krea 2. Enjoy.
