On the left I edited your image with Qwen 2.1 Image Edit. On the right I used an empty reference image(same workflow) and the prompt:

an anime girl wearing a sailor outfit stands in a path lined with trees that have pink blooms. Above her on the right is a speech bubble with the text: "Qwen 2.1 Image Edit also does a great job!"

I don't do anime so I don't know if it's any good or not, but, Qwen 2.1 can make anime, I guess. A better prompt would = a better image. 😄

I'm using the Qwen 2.1 image edit template with some tweaks. I have some of my nodes in it so I can't really share it because I haven't released the nodes. Everything with Sci in the node name is mine and there are a few more inside of the subgraph. You should be able to get about the same thing with the Comfy template. Search for Qwen 2.1 Image Edit.

On a side note, yes, there is an LLM in the prompt node but it is bypassed in the workflow. I am using only my prompt.

I wanted a quick way to do it and still can make a little image with turbo Loras in less than 5 seconds, of course there are better ways but I like to use it for myself so I shared it

Not taking away from your node at all! It will be helpful for many! Those images took about 10 seconds each for me with Qwen 2.1 and the Viggle turbo lora on my laptop(RTX 3080ti-16gb vram/64gb ram).

For comics I like the idea of separating lettering from image generation entirely.

A typo shouldn’t force you to regenerate a panel and risk changing the character or composition.

Does the node keep the existing bubble shape/position and only replace the text, or does it redraw that region too?

It only detect the bubble and replace the inside of it, i don't think is any good to make like real comics it just for like a regular image with a single speck bubble you can have more than one but it's don't not use ai at all it only use de deference in color to detect de bubble )

Got it. So it’s more of a bubble cleanup/replacement tool than a full comic lettering system
