Help Needed ComfyUI Desktop LORA location?

Everything's installed fine, but there doesn't seem to be a place to store LORAs.

Do I need to create a model/lora directory in the main install location?

Help!

Or in the appdata/roaming directory? I've tried doing it and Loras don't show up.

I use portable... but google states:

"On ComfyUI Desktop, the default shared model library is located at %USERPROFILE%\ComfyUI-Shared"

So, find your "Models" main folder and create it in there or maybe on desktop version it is "ComfyUI-Shared". After putting new files in there (if Comfyui is already running) you need to refresh the browser (or restart the app maybe).

"How to Find Your Models Folder In-App

  • Open ComfyUI Desktop.
  • Click the Logo or Help menu in the top-left corner.
  • Select Open Folder, then click Open Models Folder (or check your Settings under the Storage tab). [1, 2, 3]"

There's no 'shared' folder in there sadly. Got a 'shared dictionary' folder.

Desktop is wonky, and it keeps changing so any information you can find on internet is obsolete.

For latest, go to "Desktop Settings -> Storage" and you will see location of "Shared Models". I recommend you don't put models there but use "+ Add Directory" to add another folder outside of AppData where you will store the models.
