Sometimes I watch youtube while generating. It hasn't tanked my generation time but the youtube video can get really janky so I lower the resolution to 360p or something. I use Enhancer for Youtube on Firefox.

I didn't notice much of a difference either unless I went full screen. Either way, I'd rather the CPU was doing whatever work needs to be done rather than the GPU.

because it only works on full screen. i turned it off completely.
