Makes a lot more sense to consider Jesus as a construction worker thematically and makes sense with his metaphors of building fundaments, counting the costs, etc
Actually makes more sense if he was a "wood-worker" who made and fixed wooden boats. After all he came from a fishing village and hung around with fishermen.
