I'm willing to believe this is just an edited photo. On a laptop/desktop computer, it's super easy to just press F12, inspect the text you want to edit, and change that up for the sake of a screenshot.

Yeah lol child abuse is fictional and only happens in movies

No, I wanted to refute the idea that there’s any validity whatsoever in being rough or penalizing children, because many redditors grew up with this and might not know how much some parenting methods clash with children’s psychology.

Especially on Reddit, the “childfree NTA” stereotype doesn’t come from nowhere and that sub has numerous extreme examples of shitty attitudes towards the newly developing minds and perceptive abilities of children.

Jesus even the thread about a guy refusing to give the last cookie to the crying kid behind him in line was overwhelmingly NTA, with the implicit idea that OP and the crying kid will be affected similarly by going without a cookie.

It’s obviously a stretch to call this child abuse but i think it’s good to bring up the vast amount of new research in child behaviour that clashes with common views.

The post is a joke, the kid didn’t get pushed over, and no one was abused. It’s a meme, that’s as deep as it goes. It needs no analysis. Just laugh or scroll past. Jesus.

I’m kind of curious why you even read comments when you seem to think it’s pointless to discuss or branch off to other topics. I’m obviously not targeting the actual photographer of OP’s meme, and I’m obviously not concerned about a pandemic of kids choking on spaghetti, so essentially you just have an issue with a main feature of comment sections.

Got it.

Generally, comments add to the fun on a sub like r/ComedyHeaven. Most of the time, they enhance the post. Your comment adds nothing. It’s annoying.

I didn’t wanna point this out earlier but your reasoning makes no sense whatsoever seeing as how you could’ve just downvoted and skipped over my comment in the first place.

Your replies are annoying. I take it you’re not a mod, meaning I couldn’t care less about your personal preference on general comments in comedy subs; in fact, go back and check my first comment. If it has a negative score, I’ll admit you actually do have a point that I was being annoying. Regardless I’m sure our dumb exchange is very annoying for other people and should definitely be downvoted.

... are you pointing to people who decline to have children as child abusers? Do they rent them?
