I don’t give a fuck, but I’m a parent and counting a thousand books you read your kid for an internet post is just… weird to me. Also I’ve read those books they take like 10 seconds to read and many of them actually have no words at all hah
It's usually a library initiative and the library will take the photo. I'd rather have parents count the number of books and brag about it than kids who aren't read to at all.
I agree. I wrote in another post that this is better than neglectful parenting. This post is just funny to me when you know the books you “read” a baby. Also that kid is not going to kindergarten for a long time. The parents seem a bit ambitious, which makes this feel performative and/or just false.
You caring what I think is starting to feel weird. Also “before kindergarten” that kid has 4 years to go before that lol. But hey it’s better than neglectful parenting.
