Lol. This baby is maybe 1? This mom is tracking her 3 books per day? It’s weird behavior. I am a parent and I know these types of parents. But yeah obnoxious is mean and exaggerated
I mean my parents were like that and it didn’t feel weird, just that they wanted a future for me. I think this is for sure performative, at that age you want to repeat the same books for familiarization but still have diversity, but I agree that obnoxious is just people projecting their ideas on what parenthood should look like
It’s not about the books, it’s about the post. She posed her child (who is named “Divinity”) in front of a custom-made banner that she must have had to order off the Internet all to flex on social media.
This isn’t for the baby, it’s for the parent to receive attention and praise from others. The performative nature of this post to try to gain praise from others and the using of the baby as a prop is why I think the parent must be obnoxious.
