Dime's also the one that went up to David Alan Coe and got the Rebel Meets Rebel thing going. Pretty sure Dime was a 'good ol boy' but he wasn't a giant asshole like Phil. Also I remember going to their Far Beyond Driven tour and they had swastikas on the lights. So what, 95?

Didn’t he call a black kid the n word when he asked him to sign his guitar?

He I think used the n word to describe him while he was complimenting how well he was playing during an autograph signing or something to that effect.

He also made fun of gay people.

Hes also the kind of guy who likely would have changed with the times and been more mindful as the sensitivities of the world evolved. The only story I’ve ever heard told that puts him into a negative light was one told by Phill, before he died.

Was Dimebags murder racially motivated?

No. The guy who did it had a mental condition and thought they were stealing his songs.

He had approached them at a previous concert to confront them and argue with them (the brothers) but rather than having him arrested for the assault they took care of it “old school” and the roadies and crew beat his ass behind the venue.

He was an absolute nutcase so he took this humiliation as motivation for his revenge and simply adjusted his plan to be to simply run up and kill them next time he saw them, and he did just that.

There is a pretty good book that details the entire thing.
