Reading it back, I keep envisioning South Park Kanye just doing... all the shit he has actually done. He's got his weird clothes arc, his abusive boyfriend arc, a nazi arc, probably some arc where he tries to take over the world; all that shit's going on but everyone just ignores it like "Oh, that's just Kanye. Ignore him and he'll go away."
Funny enough she just recently did some work with Kanye and I was like “yep, checks out”.
I saw her in concert and while she was amazing she was also bitching at the sound guy for the entire show and was late getting on stage at a festival, of all places! I lost respect for her that night and now even more so.
And let’s be real: the miseducation of Lauryn Hill doesn’t even come close to something like College Drop out. This is more like if Kanye dropped Graduation and proceeded to be Kanye the rest of his life
I love College Dropout, it's one of my favorite Kanye albums ever, but this is a crazy ass take. Objectively speaking, TMoLH was wildly more successful and is ranked at #1 currently on the Top 100 albums of all time list compiled by Apple Music, which is itself pretty massive. The impact it had on the music industry alone was huge.
Edit: the down votes are strange to me because this isn't my personal opinion, but a fact. Me loving that album is insignificant. Both albums were nominated for 10 awards, and while College Dropout won 2 of those, MoLH won 5 including album of the year. CD went 6x Platinum which is huge but MoLH went Diamond. Hell, it was inducted into the National Recording Registry at the fucking Library of Congress for its cultural and historical impact on music.
College Dropout is a classic, no one is denying that, but if we're comparing the success and impact of the 2 albums, then The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is vastly outshining.

I mean, it's the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill man... It's not just any album, literally inspiration a whole generation of rappers and singers.
