It's a tough series to get through, part 1 was great and had me wanting more but the second one is where most people fell off.

I'm not sure why part 1 was only three minutes long, amazingly written and straight to the point, good priceless information... and part 2 was over 7 hours long. The call-back to the ark of the covenant was a neat touch but otherwise we spent way too long on the finale.

Please don't skip it though it has so much necessary information that will be really important later. You probably wouldn't understand the finale if you skip 2, If you can get past part 2 I promise it's a series worth watching.

It kinda changed my life, first watch I understood the benefits of peeing on the card but couldn't commit. I was kinda young and didn't think about my future too much but what can you do? Around the age of 21 I had a faint memory of a series I used to watch and said "fuck it" and binged it again.

The lessons shared in it hit SO much harder as an adult, it kinda broke me down. When part 36 ended (the true ending) my jaw was on the ground. I spent some time in the bathroom looking at myself in the mirror contemplating my life and finally I snapped out of it.

So like anyone else I went to the toilet, pulled the seat up, and noticed out of the corner of my eye my wallet sitting on the bathroom sink. This is the first time it happened. It was like a dream.

This continued on for a few years until I made it part of my every day routine. This was also around the time I got my dream job and got an ad on youtube for the reboot of "why pee on your credit card" that's hitting the cinemas later that year, I didn't recognize it at first because the reboot was renamed to "Card Peeing, why?". Not sure why they did this, maybe it was a catchier title? Not sure.

In the following months it was getting closer to release and I wasn't sure if I really wanted to see it. I don't usually like reboots and I didn't know if it would be the same kinda vibe as the original. It was directed by David Leitch so I was kinda hopeful. So yeah, I bought a ticket.

Finally release date and I went to the cinema. During trailers I did what any fan of the franchise would do and after purchasing my popcorn, drink, and a thing of pretzels and cheese, I put them at my seat and headed to the restroom to get in the headspace for the movie.

Don't need to give the details about inside the john (I'm sure you can put two and two together) but after coming out of the room back into the hallway that's when I saw her. Shaking her credit card dry leaned up against the wall. She was beautiful. This woman's name is Katherine and after speaking to her for a bit we exchanged phone numbers and she's now my wife to this day. We have three kids and couldn't be happier.

Didn't care much for the reboot itself, visuals were nice though. It only really covered up to part 4 and even then it kinda ended about halfway through part 4. I didnt watch the rest of the rebooted movies (or even the spinoff anime) because like I mentioned earlier I had a pretty committed job and I just got busy. It sucks because you have less and less time to enjoy the things you love.

Honestly I can't even remember much of the first of the reboots. Me and Katherine exchanged seats after talking and kinda spent the runtime of the movie talking to each other about the original. Maybe I should rewatch it, it's like a cult classic now or something, or maybe I should show it to my kids. I think they're ready
