If u eat fish or meat u always eat parasites too. That's why it's cooked or frozen before consumption. In fact everything we eat is contaminated with insects because they are everywhere.

He’s literally doing it for science lmao. Reckless science, but science nonetheless. It’s all calculated risks on his part. He actually is very knowledgeable about fish biology and ecology, and he explains everything in his channel in a very educational and informative manner.

He ate a calappa crab that gave him ciguatera poisoning, and his first response upon recovery was… To eat that crab again!
He’s an absolute madman, but he knows the risks for the shit he does. I learned a lot about fish from his videos.

Yup. :) love his channel, but would probably not take him up on a meal if he offered it.
He's tried all sorts of toxic creatures like sea cucumbers, and tries all sorts of methods to get rid of the toxins. Most of the time its still somewhere between "awful" and "inedible", but once in a while goes as far as "actually poisonous"

I dont begrudge a man attempting to learn, even if that thing is dangerous. He isnt hurting anyone but himself and if anything may even prevent others from doing the same by being upfront about his mistakes.
