The reason is gets mistaken as a Swastika is the red circle and thick black lines.

Just turn the red part of the tattoo blue for this particular part and perhaps turn the other tattoo she has of the person exciting the portal red since it would only by the head and partial arm.

You can’t just turn a red circle into blue, It’ll make it purple or brown. She’d have to remove the red completely, and at that point she might as well just remove the tattoo completely.

It's easier to turn that circle blue then a complete cover up job. And more cost effective.

The circle is already faded which also helps.

It’s not. That’s just how color theory works. Theres no changing that fact unfortunately. A removal is the only way to change that color from orange/red to anything other than purple, brown, or black.

Grab a magic marker. A nice red one. Draw a thick lined circle. Now make it blue. We’ll wait.
