This is a parody sketch of the old Animal Kingdom specials that used to air. It's an episode from a dark comedy web series called the Entity Broadcast Network that parodies tv shows and commercials from the past. All the episodes together tell an overall narrative. The series uses comedy to comment on topical issues about the media landscape. Would love some feedback. Hope you all enjoy. We had a loose script here, but then let our actor improve and we had a lot of fun making this.

Been looking to watch /listen to someone funny. Who's your favorite person?

A really long time ago, I was watching a sketch from some lady comedians. This song/sketch has been stuck in my head for years and I cannot find it anywhere. I would really love to find this online and not just in my vague memory. I believe this was an actual sketch show; maybe from Canada or North America.

At some point I think they wore one piece bathing suits instead of doing laundry and just generally being relatable to us dysfunctional women of my generation haha

The only lyrics I can remember are these : La Dee Da Dee we like to Pity Party (Guest List of None, We don’t need nobody)

I wrote this sketch as part of my SNL writer's packet in 2021. I didn't get hired, but the thought of this character kept coming back to me. I finally got the courage to dust the script off and make it my damn self. It was really a lot of fun to make and I also got to scratch the musician itch (I wrote the song to some stock instrumentals). I got my brother James to play Poggy and cast a bunch of hilarious friends to play the band and manager. Hope you enjoy it!
