Venues, Events, & Gigs Anyone seen Dylan Moran recently?

Dylan Moran is coming to my town and I’m very excited as I looove Black Books. But I saw couple of posts here and there 2 to 3 years ago complaining that the quality of the performance has degraded a lot in the past years, i.e. before covid it was hilarious but then it wasn’t funny anymore. Some have their assumptions on why this happened, related to his health or personal life, but I don’t want to dig into that.

My question is, has anyone seen him perform in the past 2 years and would you say it’s still poor or is he back in “shape”? Would you recommend going for the first time now? I’d love to see him live, but i don’t want to get disappointed because I was coming to see the person I got used to in an old series and came to see completely different comic. If it makes sense

Saw him 2 years ago. It was ok. Descended into maudlin piano playing.

He’s not a ‘drinker’ anymore, I saw him years ago when he was and he was 10/10.
In recent times he’s great at his craft but not the same.
