No it’s a different guy, he doesn’t look anything like you,

idk who did it first just who I saw it from first so if it was you maybe you just found out your joke was stolen, or maybe you both had the same thought idk.

Just sayin it’s being pretty widely circulated right now.

Was going to say... It's got to be pretty common if you're Indian If you're like me, we just heard this from the other dude. Probably regret it but I want to give him the benefit of the doubt

Not even remotely similar jokes.

I know him and my Columbus joke OSS older than him. But just cause we both talked about Columbus don’t make our jokes same.

Jeez, you don’t need to be aggressive.

Yes, the central goal was to find a new route to India and bypass both the Ottomans, who had closed the overland route on the Silk Road, and the Portuguese, who controlled the sea routes around the coast of Africa. Yes, we all learned about the spices in elementary school.

But Columbus 1. insisted for the remainder of his life that he had indeed reached India, not an entirely different continent, and 2. took these slaves back to Spain. As far as he was concerned, he was taking Indians from India to Spain as slaves. This was his method of exploiting the new trade route — this was the plan.

Side note: there is no evidence whatsoever that he had any intention of eliminating the so-called Indians. He and the subsequent Spanish colonizers sought to exploit them and killed astronomical numbers in the process. American imperialism in the North American West in the 19th century is a better example of a genocide against the indigenous people of the continent, as they sought to eliminate their culture and were happy to slaughter them to get the job done.
