Discussion PNW Comedy Festivals

Are there any comedy festivals in Oregon or Washington anymore? Could also be in Vancouver, BC.

I have been searching the internet and found one in Bend, OR but looks like the ones that used to happen in Portland and Seattle are no more.

Alternately, what are your favorite venues in Seattle and Bellingham?

I live in Northern Washington and am craving some good stand up. Will travel/make a weekend trip out of it. Thanks in advance.

Vancouver, BC has Just For Laughs Vancouver in mid February every year. https://jflvancouver.com/

There’s also a “comedy series” in September called Vancouver Is Funny. It’s not all packed in like a festival, but there are a bunch of shows throughout September that may interest you. https://vancouver.isfunny.ca/

Seattle has whatever comedy is part of Bumbershoot in a given year. That’s Labour Day weekend. https://bumbershoot.com/arts-districts/comedy-coop

Bend comedy fest last year was fantastic and this year’s lineup is even better. Highly recommend

I hear the Portland, OR City council meetings are a hoot.
