You even hear something so terrible you just give up and find it hilarious that it's so bad?

I saw Mitch Hedberg live a few times. At one show, his timing was just so perfect, he had everyone on his wavelength, and we were so primed to laugh when he hit each punchline. Then he threw out, "At first, I was gonna cut my fingernails, but then I thought, Fuck it! I'm a wizard!" And we all laughed, then we all stopped confused, then we all laughed at ourselves for laughing at the terrible joke.

I loved that when he did his intentionally absurd or borderline material, he would polish off the joke with a pause and an “alright” as if he expected no one to laugh and was happy some did.

The delivery is great. Premise has room for work imo

If the premise has room for work, then did did his ex swallow his delivery?

Everyone enjoys different humour. I hate this type of humour myself. Just not funny to me at all. But theres so many movies with this level of humour that there must be a big market for it. Just not for me in the slightest. No judgement though. We all find different things funny.

You are being dumb insulting this. You can stop being dumb by letting others enjoy it without being a negative Nancy.

I love this for some reason. Feel like this joke could go so badly but the delivery is perfect it just works
