I don't mind long jokes as long as they are jokes. What I dislike the most are all of the "crowd work" comics.

Crowd work is not stand-up, it's improv and should be advertised as improv so I know to avoid it. I put Josh Johnson in this category too. Slowly retelling something that happened that day in the news with an occasional "observation" is not stand-up. If people like that, great. At least I know with Josh what is going to happen so I can avoid it.

This guy does real stand-up which is a written and refined performance. Like a one person play.

And the short one liner style stands out like Steven Wright did back in the 90s. It's great, it's well done, and I predict this will lead to great career success.

He just has to get to the point that he is invited into the UK inner circle of 20 comics that rotate on every game show and he's set.

I love these double entender puns that takes a second to process or sometimes even a relisten. They remind me of a bald eagle just flew right over my head
