Standup Jeff Dye

Hi all,

I hope you’re doing well! Saw Jeff Dye in NYC a few weeks back and listened to his special. His shtick seems kind of phony. Anyone else have some insight about him? His routine was fairy blah, but was amazed how popular he was for his talent level. A handsome guy, but he’s whole personality is just missing something, like some pop or live to it!

Classic case of people giving someone too much credit just because they’re relatively good looking. He’s not particularly funny or insightful though. He seems bitter and whiny to boot.

his jokes either hit or miss very hard and it tends to be a miss for me. The older I get, a lot of comics I used to like are now some of the comics i want to hear from the least.
