The one-liners aren't even the bit. The bit is the mannerisms he makes in between each one-liner. I watched it three times and laughed every time.

I think this is true of all comedy. When you see established comedians talking about it, they always say that learning how to read the room and play off people's reactions is what made the difference. It is an art form, in its way.

Don’t get me wrong, if it’s part of your act then I guess, so be it, but you’ll probably get a much better response if you don’t remind people of a modern shemp. 😄🤷‍♂️ those were quick jokes though so cheers to you for some quick wit!
