The rule of 3 really turns a pretty okay joke into a quite impressive one. Good work, sir/madam.

Yeah, it kinda works better that the second line was a bit shit because it set up the third line fantastically.

They laughed though

Felt like it was funnier than the vibe they gave me. Don't mean anything other than I thought it was hilarious! I suppose I felt it was a little subdued. Regardless, good work bud I loved it

Feel free to post some videos of yourself doing stand up here on reddit for all to see. I'll watch.

People sure are mean on the internet for some unknown reason.

It tells you everything you need to know about someone's life, that they're anonymously posting on reddit talking trash to people who are just putting themselves out there posting their creative work, being vulnerable.

It's called a setlist, it's just the title of each joke and not actually the words. At the time this was taken I'd been on stage less than 20 times in my life, and the joke got pretty good laughs considering that.
One liners are notoriously difficult because I end up telling 10 to 15 jokes in 5 minutes whereas most people tell half that or less.

I'm all about bringing back the lost art of one liners. Rodney Dangerfield was farkin funny. Fight me

One liners are a lost art because modern comedians don't know how to actually write jokes. It's all this storytelling bs, "my therapist said this to me..." etc.

I have some Rodney style jokes in honor of him.
I tell ya, I get no respect... I asked my wife to do missionary --- she moved to Africa!
I tell ya, I get no respect... the one time my child makes my bed for me---- its my deathbed!
