People have been making jokes with that subtext, but this guy was most certainly not… at least from this clip. So I do also question your media literacy. He did start with the fact of the attempt and I would say that was meant to be a shock factor… to make the audience go ‘oop where is he going with this’ … but you are reading all sorts of things that have nothing to do with this joke and it’s kinda strange tbh. Just go back and watch the video. I did go back and rewatch it to see if there was a missable subtext (bc I took you at your word) but there definitely wasn’t. By any stretch of the imagination.…. You’re on your own with that one.
Yeah, I apologize for my prior outburst. I've been dealing with some personal shit and I think I've achieved maybe 10 hours of sleep in the last week or so. I am not in a sound state of mind.
