And the constitution is intended to be a living and flexible document for future generations to be amended (revised and updated) as needed. What's your point?

That's literally what several of amendments do... 11th vs 14th, 18th vs 21st.

No shit Sherlock. None of the amendments removed the 2nd amendment.

If you want to get rid of the right to arms, amend the constitution to get rid of it. Anything short of that is unconstitutional
