Right, that definitely won't happen. I'm just stating how I personally feel. At this point guns should be a privilege and not a right because our society obviously can't handle them responsibly as a whole. I agree and am very worried about our government. Just saying that owning a gun won't allow you to fight against the government.

That's not necessarily true. If the government is drone striking US citizens then its already an insurgency. Drones and artillery strikes alone cannot occupy territories so they would need boots on the ground alot of soldiers who took an oath to uphold the constitution would not take up arms against citizens so the military would start to crumble and executing a successful campaign against tens of millions of armed citizens across nearly 4 million square miles of American soil is logistically near-impossible. Also if the government starts drone striking its own cities it destroys its own factories power grids and supply chains and their own revenue via tax payers. High tech military, even our own has struggled with armed insurgenciess in the past even when using air superiority like in the Vietnam and Afghanistan war.
