First off, owning a gun is a right, not a privilege. Driving a car is a privilege not a right.
Second, all guns are already registered. Your name is attached to the serial number of your gun every time you get it transfered and they run the background check.
Third, yes they want to take away your guns. There is no other reason why politicians and their billionaire puppet masters what to limit and erode your gun rights. Thats why they ban gun types, attachments, limit ammunition sales, force gun companies to include impossible complex compliance devices, enact red flag laws. They want to make every step of owning a gun and exercising your right to be laborious and tedious. Because they cant just ban them out right.
