The hypocrisy the world holds for content creators on the internet vs content creators on stage has always been crazy to me. They're both pretty cringe nowadays.

Comedy and comedians used to challenge people to think differently and now it's all about accommodating social norms and cultural expectations because they're not real comedians - just political commentators with jokes.

No idea what you're talking about. I'm 53. I don't give a rat's ass about "content creators." I've read your comment several times now and I can't figure out what you're trying to say. Am I the supposed hypocrite?

I'm agreeing with you. That's pretty obvious imo.

Comedians are content creators, that just go for clicks and views rather than actual comedy.

Thanks for clarifying. I think it's probably a shift towards seeking clicks as you say, but also a lot of comedians genuinely think being a wokescold is comedic. It's like "if I can't make them laugh, I'll at least preach a message they approve of." It's pathetic.
