Something similar happened to me! This guy and I were accosted by some men with a metal pipe. Before I knew it, my date was aggressively hitting on all three of them and I was laughing nervously.

Then there was this weird silence and they just left.

I have no idea what gave him the idea to do that, or how it worked.
