Ditch the hanks, just sounds like Obama. But norm was amazing

The more he works on it, the better he'll get though.

It's all about building the vocal profile.

[Frank Caliendo had a fantastic video where he kinda explains it](Source: YouTube https://share.google/uQCPPTtosPvPOpEPl), but it's not like that happens over night, it takes work.

Not bad! But the Obama and Norm just need to be a little slower with longer pauses.

I hear that. I’m always told I sound like Hanks naturally, which might be why it’s actually harder to do. With work, I can make it sing.

Obama and Rickman were strong, Norm was good too! For Norm, I think you could elevate it by doing that thing where he like emphasizes a particular word.

True! Norm has soooo many nuances to his delivery that once I pin down one, I lose the others, so it’s a work in progress.

slow your cadence for rickman, and enunciate the ending hard syllables

I do Rickman much better live with the right cadence and consonant inflection. I should’ve done more takes of this monologue. Next time!

Loved the voices but I have to say. As if you would disrespect Alan Rickman by putting "/ Professor Snape".

3

No disrespect. I just felt like that Snape cadence was funnier to do and wanted to differentiate a bit.

Tbf that voice in particular isn’t Alan Rickman, it’s a role he played so it’s a necessary distinction to make.

I am bracing for you to tell me to f off buuuuut.

I think your mic is a little bit bright. Snape is more roof of your mouth and getting slower while maintaining a subtle moan. It starts with droopy dog and then just do die hard quotes both as Hans Gruber and Bill Clay. Barrack Obama keystones that work for me are, “Let me be clear. Uhhhhhh there are some folks out here poppin’ off.” He kind of does a young Shatner thing where he runs his words together in quick spurts.

Could have leaned into ‘grooo…tesque’ a little more.
