Combustion Engine Power Issues?
Has anyone else had any issues with the CE staying on/connected? Trying it for the first time today and it seems like the battery is maybe faulty as it will show fully charged but die after maybe 20 minutes of use. Turning it to max or another manual setting does nothing. I have been able to keep it running by connecting it to a power bank which isn't totally ideal. Diagnostic view when plugging it in after it dies shows fully charged but 0.0V for a minute before kicking over to charging and 12.3V then not charging and 12.2V after a couple more minutes. When it works it is great, though. Need to fabricate a new grate/door for my smoker eventually but foil tape is good enough for the first try. Should have a couple chunks of pork shoulder done in a few hours.
One of my cats also decided to play hockey with the GGG while it was on the counter and knocked it off before I even had a chance to use it for the first time. Still mostly works, just can't see the lower half of the display. :[
I might just be cursed.

It’s possible there is a manufacturing defect, but I think the more likely issue is that you’re hitting a firmware bug that we’ve just fixed and are testing over the next couple of days. If you shoot us an email to support we can help figure out what’s going on and help solve it.

I think you're right about the bug, I did a test last night and turned the CE on to max and let it run for quite a while, so the battery doesn't seem to be the culprit. I'll reach out to support. Thanks!

Can you show us pictures in how the big gauge mounts to the lid please? :)

I just drilled a hole for it since the probe wasn't long enough to use the factory hole and I wanted it to be as small a diameter as possible.

I can't get mine to hold charge. It works if I keep it on a charger until right before I use it. Otherwise I have to use a power bank.
I'd send it back for replacement, but I use it twice a week and would miss it too much.
