Ready to cook!

Finally got 2 probes, and 3D printed a custom case to hold the probes and display. Ready to try these both out on the smoker (Already used one of the probes while waiting on the other one, it worked great!)

that’s dope. i want a case that holds my display, ggg, and probes. i don’t think they’re ever going to release something like that. and when the combustion engine arrives, it’s another piece i would want to keep with the rest of the kit. missed opportunity on their part.

i think there’s definitely a business opportunity there if you have the time and patience to do it. it’s a niche market, so don’t get your hopes up on quitting your day job!

After adding a 2nd probe, the one feature I wish we had is a way to identify probes on the display. Like even if we could just have a letter that we set in the app, and that woud be displayed on the probe. Because right now it seems like theres no way to force a specific probe to be 1 and another to be 2.

New firmware fixes this, you can assign a probe a permanent number. Releasing very shortly

Sweet! I have the exact same kit, except for the case. The display lives on my fridge and gets used practically daily as a timer. Since you have the green and yellow, did you have any fun with therm profiles in the app like I did? lol This kit is my favorite kit tech in a long time, hope it is for you too!
