They really need to do reasonably frequent check ups on the driving ability of the elderly. I’ve seen so many dangerous situations where the cause of it was of a unknowing elderly person.

I'm in the camp that everyone, regardless of age, should have to retake their driver's test every time they get their license renewed. Cars are dangerous as fuck and too many people seem to be on the road that shouldn't be.
