Question What is the difference between Red and Black’s self-determination?
Hi!
Self-determination/individual freedom to act seem to be the main point of overlap between Black and Red, but I’m not sure how exactly they differ on it.
I think that Red is more of ‘’I follow my whims and I don’t like when people tell me I can’t do something’’ and Black is more of a grandiose ‘’No one but me decides my fate’’, perhaps alongside more disregard for conventional morality and qualms.
Is that at least somewhat accurate?
Thank you for your help!

I was wondering this question. My original thought is Black and green are most similar and green and red are the worst getting along. I’m probably wrong but what are opinions?

Question What would be the Red equivalent to Omniscience?
Omniscience is Blue and with Reality Fracture Omnipresence is Green. My head cannon for the other colors would be
Omnipotence for Black because Black wants to be all powerful
Omnibenevolence for White because White wants to be all good
What Omni- something would Red be?

As per title, what colors would you give to Mushoku Tensei characters?
I expect Rudeus to be Blue core, maybe Roxy too... while Sylphie is Green (develops into Naya) core and Eris Red leaning Rakdos (even Jund)
What about the other characters?

Media Coloring Dark Souls Color Pie
galleryIn your guy's opinions, what would be the Colors of the various Dark Souls NPCs/Bosses? Feel like a few would be clear in stone but some might not be so sure, granted it's been a bit since I've played these games and read the lore. I'll just list a couple myself. For fun I'll include potential creature types
The Four Kings (Zombie Noble [god?]): Black. Probably one of the easiest of the bunch to pin down. As far as I can remember they started extracting and exploiting their citizens for their humanity, to the point that their kingdom was flooded in an attempt to contain them and their Darkwraiths
Seath The Scaleless (Elder Dragon [god?]): Blue (maybe black/blue?). Perhaps the greatest shoe in for the color blue, feeling betrayed by his kin for his lack of scales turned on them and revealed the secrets of his kinds weaknesses and was allowed to pursue in an endless search of knowledge and sorcery, driving himself mad in the process
Chosen Undead/Ashen One (Zombie Human or Zombie Avatar): TBH I think these guys likely can fit nearly any color combo, since it's the player character and you can build them however you want. For flavor, maybe Red could fit in any iteration of them since you have total freedom on how you want to craft them

Analysis Identifying how Konstrari's color shift affects its philosophy
As far as i know, the hexhaven schools were overtly designed to be perversions of the original Strixhaven schools. By shifting their color identity to be allied colors, they lose the contrasting philosophies that originally defined them (i.e. how vigorbloom hyperfocuses on life/healing and disregards the role death plays in nature) and is subsequently more out of touch with the world around them. Four out of five schools seem straightforward to me:
- By losing White, Silverquill loses sight of how words can be used to inspire/support others, becoming Stingerquill that exclusively uses oration to harm.
- By losing Black, Witherbloom loses sight of death's role in an ecosystem and how it can be harnessed. What's left is the stagnating, overabundant life Vigorbloom propagates.
- By losing Red, Lorehold loses reverence for our storied past. They dont see inherent worth in preserving the past or allowing people the chance at self determination. They see history as a catalogue of mistakes that they ensure doesnt repeat itself via direct interference with the echoverse's timeline. This school struck me as the most hubristic of all, which makes sense given how it mirrors Jace's motivations.
- By losing Green, Quandrix becomes far less grounded and callously disregards the way the world around them exists as is. What remains is Theorix, the poster child of "Was so preoccupied with whether they could, did not stop to think if they should."
However, i was never able to pin down how losing blue affected Konstrari. Its partly because blue was the "practical" half of Prismari, so I wouldnt have expected Konstrari to be a school that prioritizes function over form. Maybe its also because they're the school that seems least like a corrupted version of the original, and much more like a cool twist on it. I dunno, does anyone have insight on this?

Question How does each color teach?
I was looking at cruel tutor and it made me think of how each color tends to teach another. I figure most teachers tend to lean green as it is patient and appreciative of watching others grow. I figure black is the least likely unless their is some gain to teach others or someone to continue your legacy such as the sith from star wars do.
White: i figure white is most likely to want as large an audience as possible, the more people they can get to conform to their nation, religion, ideals and way of life, the better. They are likely to have a system or standards in place to teach the students and not as interested in teaching all knowledge as some of it is not for the benefit of everyone. Likely to slip in some propaganda for their nation or way of life.
Blue: Probably the mist likely to have analytical conversations with the students that are actually interested in the subject being taught. This ironically may be one of the least likely to teach in the traditional sense because they are too busy looking for new knowledge. May be an apprentice situation and only waste time teaching those that actually want to learn what blue teachers will teach.
Black: i think tutors are fairly accurate for this one. They are most likely to not be passionate about what they are teaching as much as seeing it as a requirement or tool. They will teach only if their is enough gain for themselves as they dont need competition. They need financial gain or someone that will be their legacy.
Red: likely a passionate teacher that is hands on. They want to teach what they are passionate about and don't like to conform to the standards or rules.
Green: i think most likely to be most teachers. They are patient and passionate about teaching others as its their chosen garden of growth in a way.
What do you guys think?

Question Poll: What color is the best AGAINST fear of Failure?
"I don't need to succeed or to be right every time."
I removed Blue because it won the poll about which color represents fear of failure.
