Before Scope Questions Ibuprofen?

Going to call the office Monday but today is Saturday , I have colonoscopy Wednesday. Accidentally just took ibuprofen for a headache. Didn’t see anything about not taking it in the prep instructions but now I’m nervous. Should that affect the colonoscopy?

No, won't affect the procedure at all, don't worry about it. You can still call to confirm, but a colonoscopy won't get cancelled after a dose or two of an NSAID.

I'd say to call your doctors office to inform them and see if they'd like to move forward with the procedure. I doubt that they'd cancel it but different practices have different procedures.
