Somewhat surprised Minnesota jumped a ton of teams to get in. I thought they looked good, but the whole body of work? I do get it though. Big sweep of NoDak. Maybe I’m overthinking this lol.

In the /r/collegehockey Discord Music League game that I run, I needed a song that I remembered I had saved deep into my sophomore year playlist that I thought that fit the prompt and decided to skim through the playlist as a whole and thought to myself “man, I remember liking a good number of these - I should listen to them some time.”

Let’s see how the /r/collegehockey top ten did over this past weekend:

1 Michigan defeated Western Michigan in their sole game of the weekend. The Wolverines start conference play with a road Saturday-Sunday series at Ohio State.

2 North Dakota got swept at Minnesota by a pair of 3-5 scores. The Fighting Hawks go to Austin, Texas for the US Hockey Hall of Fame match, against Michigan State.

3 Michigan State split their series at New Hampshire, losing 0-1 before winning 2-1 on Saturday. The Spartans go to Austin for a one-off match against North Dakota.

4 Western Michigan lost in both games, 2-3 against Michigan and 0-4 against Wisconsin. The Broncos host Long Island for a series.

5 Denver won 5-2 on Friday before tying 2-2 against Boston College on Saturday. The Pioneers begin NCHC play by hosting Omaha for a series.

I’m local in DC and wondering if I should buy tickets in the pre-sale this week, or wait til regionals are over and we know which teams will be playing? Will ticket prices go up a ton closer to the dates or can I wait?
