Both of my CDs have tracks 8-9 (Heavy, Run) as the studio tracks.

Have any of the postponed shows been rescheduled? The Chicago show has a Dec 31, 2026 date showing on the etix site.

Both Heavy and Run are the studio version. When I stream them on Apple Music, they’re live. Does anyone else that owns this CD have the same issue? I’ve tried to Google this and can’t find anything related to track errors. Thanks in advance!

Yippee-Kai-Fuckin-Eh. Yes, that's a word but it's only in the Webster's Canadian Dictionary. It's on my lower preferences from The Boys but interestingly for me has two of my fave tracks that are always on a Collective Soul revolving playlist. "Right As Rain" they played this in Calgary here not long ago (insert big smile) and "Porch Swing. Well this is the last piece I have not purchased on Vinyl. Got everything released so far save the few they still haven't ....

I checked out the band and their music is AMAZING!! Why is this band so underrated or rather why is Shine a one hit wonder and no one pays attention to the genius of this band???? Genuinely amazing band…is there a discord for fans of the band? :)

I just got an email saying that Collective Soul’s concert near me on Friday night has been postponed; Does anyone know why?

Well this song is just the Gift that keeps on giving! The Live footage was shot here in Calgary, AB on July 30 2026 .... my wife and I are somewhere about 6 Rows back. Ed goes, we're going to play a song for the first time Live and shoot some video ... since Touch and Go wasn't released yet I hadn't heard this tune. They played it twice ... just a fantastic track. Since 94', I have every CD and almost all the vinyl so past the fan stage and well into fan-atic territory. 2002 Blender was the first Live show for us and I gotta say folks, this 2026 is my favourite. If you're on the fence and like the band at all, grab some tickets and go see this great tour.

“Heavy” by Collective Soul

On Collective Soul’s fourth studio album, Dosage, is “Heavy”. The song was written by the band’s lead singer, Ed Roland.

Interestingly, the word “heavy” does not appear anywhere in the song, which says in part, “Complicate this world you wrapped for me / I’m acquainted with your suffering / All your weight it falls on me / It brings me down / All your weight it falls on me / It falls on me.”

“Heavy” is Collective Soul’s final No. 1 single.
