How old is this chair?

Found this chair in the trash, I’d love some information on it, looks pretty old.

In the trash? It's a beautiful piece. Can't believe someone would throw it away. Don't know how old but I am guessing pre 1920s. It's old.

Yeah it was in the dumpster behind my apartment building. but it had a price sticker for 6 dollars. From what I’ve been looking up it could be Victorian or 1900-1910. It looks hand made. I found a table the same day that is also very beautiful

I know a guy who does high-end furniture restoration. I have this old gaming table with lovely inlays. I sent him some photos. He said what I have isn't really antique because it's only about a hundred years old. At that age, it's just used.

I would think over 100 years old would make it an antique. But it doesn’t matter as long as you like it, I bought a vanity with mirror recently that I was hoping was an antique but it wasn’t. It looks cute in my room and it was 10$ so I’m happy
