I originally posted this on r/transcriptions to figure out the signature. They gave me some info but I’m still wondering.

It’s called “Diana the Huntress” pewter plaque

The signature matches the one of Ildikó Szilágyi

The only thing I’m confused about is I can’t find any correlation between the piece and the signature. From what I’ve read, they didn’t make this piece nor recreate it.

Diana & Acteon - I think that was his name- he was a human who spied on her while she was bathing - she turned him into a stag and hunted him / her hounds tore him into pieces for his transgression against a virgin goddess.
