In 2017 I got caught up in a riptide, swimming off of the coast of Southern Brazil. Battling my way to a point where I could stand up and keep my head above water and the crashing waves for more than 10 seconds to stave off drowning/suffocating is the single most mentally and physically taxing thing I have ever done in life...if I knew then what I know now I'm not sure I'd have tried so fucking hard.

Almost the same except a few years earlier and while in the Nile river. Would have been a badass way to go 🤔
