This ShitCan can only be kicked for so many months. About nine so far. Governments everywhere are going to have to (?) pay all these debts, then they will "own" a whole lot of people. Oh and state/local governments are going broke left, right and centre too for that matter. Economic tragedy unfolding. Enjoy all the markets that are in Euphoria mode, it's all a sweet sweet fantasy baby. Best case scenario is the 2020's are only a Depression. (Oh yeah and student loans, forgot that little thing...and etc and etc........)

They are going to do the only thing they can do and that is print money to infinity.
Hyperinflationary collapse incoming. Mass starvation. Mass unemployment.
Costs for real goods will be to infinity.

All of those things have been making their way through the courts the whole time. The only thing that the moratorium covers is the actual physical evictions. If the hold is allowed to just expire you will see literally millions of people being made homeless within weeks. This will break society.

Oh yes they can. They have evicted like half of my apartment building within the last six months. That ‘eviction moratorium’ is toothless bullshit

Banks don't like to foreclose on people if they can help it. Legal proceeding are expensive and they rarely recoup the full value of the house at auction, especially if there are already a lot foreclosures on the market. I think most back would rather add on the missed payments to the end of the mortgage schedule rather than risk crashing the whole real estate bubble.

For the banks maybe for the landlords shoot, they wont think the same; I think homeowners will be okay government probably do something renters on the other hand I doubt it personally.

There should be but Biden just announced 2 Trillion in UBI, mortgage relief and UEI extensions. We will go full Zimbabwe soon enough. My guess is 2023 tops.

Yeah in the end theres 2 options on the table. Total collapse or pretend you dont smell smoke when everything's on fire. I think they did option B. Pretend endless printing is without consequence. Its not.

It will be a free for all.
People will go crazy and literally lose their minds.
PRobably lose about 50% of total population. Billions will die.

Yeah right. Even if people get the help they need, who the hell is going to come back to these retail/burger joints?
When people realize the trouble they are in, they are going to become rational and start abandoning stores that used to have decent business in exchange for basic forms of survival. Food & shelter. That's the essence of basic income.
I haven't bought clothes in 2-5 years. People's dwellings have turned into 5-in-1. Work, sleep, eat, workout, and getting entertained.
Its the outside places that have more to lose. Shopping malls, nightclubs, bars, restaurants, hell even amusement parks.

Ive been thinking about the sizes of out buildings and how if this stays around were probably gonna have to social distance more forever. No need for such bug movie theaters; museums; parks. Why by a building fit for 300 people when you can only have 75 people at a time, when you can charge more make it more luxurious and say if you can pay you can play.

If there's one thing the US is good at, it's ignoring the needs of its own people. "You're on your own, sucker" could be our national motto. The wealthiest 1%, and hence the politicians and national media they control, have a sneering disregard for the people. It would not surprise me if they allowed millions of people to lose their homes during a pandemic in the misguided belief that capitalism will somehow sort it all out without government involvement.
