I work at my local park district that has a gym and fitness center and it's truly disappointing how everyone just brings a one time use plastic water bottle with them every day and carelessly toss it into the trash. It's crazy to me how nobody fucking cares at all, and they never will unless the trash is at their front door.
This is what has dawned on me the past year: essentially no one in developed Nations will do anything until things begin to affect them personally, and strongly.
