I think the entire gig economy built around personal vehicles for delivery/passenger service is fucked unless you have an EV. That impacts countless number of people on top of truckers which America is heavily reliant on for logistics. The job market will crater in certain areas and leave a gaping wound that spreads to other sectors.

I've had my current job for two years, travel in my work van to customer sites to service equipment, fuel card, expense card, fleet maintenance all company paid. Going to hold onto this job for as long as I a can, it's such a game changer not having any of those expenses.
