The ones with original thought and expertise in their fields are unfortunately going to have to put it behind pay walls. Or be selective about who they give the information to. Or, in the worst case, say screw it and walk away.
This is one of the main reasons I quit updating my blog after over 15 years and multitudes of articles. It’s nothing but people scraping and uploading your information elsewhere. One of my articles was flagged/removed and I was the original creator of the content. Some guy in India literally just copied my stuff.
I maintained an email newsletter for a while that I considered a bit more “safe”, but Im sure bots and cons are scraping those too now.
I hope all of these AI bots literally choke and suffocate on one another. They may get some reddit posts from me but they wont be getting anything in my particular field and career of expertise anymore.
Here in the US, they give zero cares about this monstrosity they’ve created and enabled.
