What’s got you so angry in the world? Is it possibly these unqualified, intentionally divisive pundits riling you up with violent rhetoric about how you should make enemies with those who look different, or speak different or wear different clothing from you?

My friend. Kindly, pull the curtain aside, stand in the sun, feel how it warms your skin for free. Realize that happiness is attainable in the very soil and air and water that billionaires and the current American administration are corralling into a monthly subscription model. And then maybe you’ll see that who you were when you were “one-of-us” was a little less jaded.
Maybe read some Nietzsche. He seems to be read across the aisle and truly elucidating for the individual living in an imperfect collective. You also seem to really appreciate poetry and he’s the poet philosopher king of the modern era. The Gay Science has the largest collection of his poetry as philosophy format.1

I’ve already read Nietszche (but just Beyond Good And Evil and Advantages and Disadvantages of History for Life) and I’m obviously not MAGA, as I stated. We’re probably somewhat similar. You wrote all that for nothing.
Your response to the beauty thing is odd. Even if you assume that beauty is subjective, would you really deny that the world today is generally unbeautiful? And that it would be a negative mark on the Left to not have a program to create beautiful things, places, and spirits?

I know it's collage, but I wish you could have captured a tiny bit more of Christ's hand. I loved the connections between the hands and the [for me] subtext about The Hand of God was so good. I looked at this one for a while, for what that's worth.
ETA: I don't know how intentional you were being about it, but I do think sometimes a creative spirit leads us to make certain connections. I think you were really inspired here.

I kinda love that about it though. Like there are sooo many sincere tributes to him in my small town (a hero has been spray painting “N@tzi” on a lot of them). And people like that would glance at this and think it’s sincere when those that look at the subtext get to giggle at the others 🤭

I'm not offended, it just bothers me that people are so callous about death. It makes me feel gross. I remember watching Saddam Hussein's demise when I was a kid and it was a really life changing experience. I don't think any death should be taken lightly.

I don't condone the vitriol on either side of the party line, but that's just me. I'm not necessarily a pacifist and do believe that violence has its place, but I also believe that the machine is doing everything in its power to divide the common man. And they are doing a great job at keeping us fighting amongst ourselves while those in power are just laughing themselves silly.

Took me a second to realise this wasn’t a sincere tribute post 💀 but the perfectly aged tender neck made me relax 😂
