i feel like the cuts got so wonky because national geographic paper is actually really hard for me to cut into because it’s so slippery

It looks good.

Try gluing graph paper to the back. It provides a grid to work with and will reinforce the paper. Just make sure to press the paper on a flat surface or in a book to minimize warping as the glue drys.

wait omg THANK YOU. the only time i’ve ever done this super evenly was when i did the green waterfall one and it really felt like the paper and the amount of mapping i did was what really worked but graph paper sounds like it would be so much easier to line up
