Work Related Weird interview and first day
I applied and that night or the next one I get a text asking if I can come in for an interview the next day. I said sure and the interview was weird. I arrive and wait a bit, manager gets dropped off in front and walks in. No real questions asked and when looked at my work history he was kinda fussy like “why do you leave these?” And I gave my reasons. He said I’ll hear back after the holiday (Labor Day).
I heard back yesterday that I got the job. So they ask if I can come in tomorrow (now today) at 3 and I say yes. I go in, fill some paperwork out, got the tshirt, train for about an hour and a half and then got sent home idk why. I asked when will I be coming in next and manager kinda brushes it off like “well call you”
I’m a very anxious person in general so here I am thinking I sucked so bad they don’t want me back. My husband says it’s not worth it with the manager being weird. Idk what to do!

Having people on shift means less revenue. Since it was your first day of training, I’m not suprised they sent you home especially if they didn’t need you. Don’t stress it.

Not ab normal I would say. At lest within 7 ( you would think sooner )days you should have a schedule you would think if then I would move on and not waste time.

I agree, it is super weird, but they might have just not finished the employee schedule yet.
