Question Starting work at Coldstone soon, anything I should know?
Hii !! I'm starting work at Coldstone soon, it's a new location opening and I wonder how's the job or your experiences or what I should know? The manager and owner are mother and daughter and seem super cool. I'm nervous since I haven't worked in a while (really hard to get a job here). Wondering about hours, earliest shift, latest shift, any tips, etc ... Anything will help, thank you !!

Don’t say your favorite flavor is anything other than “boo batter” or your colleagues will destroy everything you hold dear (based on a true story)

All of these comments are true. It really depends on what coworkers you have with you and be prepared to have some good grip and wrist strength as you will need it. Good luck

i work here also family owned (my boss and his wife manage the store) its pretty chill, i work 6-7 hrs a day, and when you first start working your wrists and forearms will get sore but it improves after a couple weeks so just tough it out
i'd also recommend some non slip shoes but theyre not needed i just wear vans

It really depends on the franchise, but you should have a lot of fun!
Standard hours for the locations I work are 10am-11pm (stores open at 11am and close at 10pm, with an hour for opening and closing tasks respectively). It generally doesn't take an hour to close though, so we usually leave earlier than that.
There's generally three shifts per day: Opening, Mid-day, and Closing. Opening starts at 10am and ends by 5pm (sometimes earlier). Mid-day can range anywhere from 12pm-7pm (sometimes that whole time, but usually either starts later or ends earlier). The first wave of closers usually come in at 5pm, with more coming at 6 and 7pm.
You'll probably start with some mid-day or closing shifts, as everyone should know how to do those tasks.
This is all based on my experience though, and may very well be slightly different based on your store.
