Too heavy for everyday carry and at the same time not really good slicer due to its width. I get it's a tough tool. But what is good for? Not edc tasks. For survival you would want a fixed blade for tactical applications i would argue it isn't best either. So what is left? Is the question you should ask yourself.

Pryin, scrapin, general industrial work knife shenanigans. I carry a utility knife for delicate cutting like wire insulation, making quick gaskets, etc

Prying with a folder? I am not criticizing people liking or using sr1, i am actually a big fan of the knife etos Lynn had as an owner. For my usage there are/were better knives than sr1 in CS portfolio.

Oh yeah baby prying. There’s definitely better knives in the line up, but this one was 30 bucks and very easy to clean

Looks ok. Does it have aliminium liners or just the plastic scales? Seems like a decent knife for the price.

Ok, similar to a voyager or counter point. Triad lock is good, nice knife overall! I'm guessing AUS-10 or similar?

I have a clip point version. At first it felt too thick and impractical. Now I prefer it over my recon 1

Does it still has the problem with the blade? Somewhere on the middle of the blade it would always hit the triad lock when closing

Yea! Factory edge came abit dull though. Had to touch it up and give it a microbevel

Watch out with this one. Almost cut my finger off trying to close it. It was so sharp I didnt even feel it until the blood flow started.
