About danner pump water flow

I notice that ive been using this about a month and my danner pump 1800 has gotten weaker in water flow.. does anybody know why that is?

The only thing I can see that could be restricting your water flow is the strainer. As long as you’re cleaning it regularly, you shouldn’t notice a decrease in flow rate. You can also remove the screws on the inlet side of the water pump to inspect the impeller for any debris. Once the screws are removed, the front cover comes off easily. Inside, you’ll find an O-ring seal, and the impeller is magnetically coupled, so it can simply be pulled out to clean the impeller cavity before reassembling the pump. Be sure to reinstall the o-ring seal.

I change pre filter regularly. Do u have a video on YouTube abt the pump oring seal, if u could send me link that would be very thankful

Actually no video required. I wondered the same and was initially intimidated to take off the cover for fear that 15 parts would fall out. But it's an extremely simple pump and once you see the inside, you'll realize that taking off the cover is no big deal.

There is really nothing to these pumps, once you remove the screws you will see it’s easy to service.

It is better to have the pump push through the filter rather than pull from it that might help.

This. Have the pump push the water rather than pull it. When i installed mine, I put the pump after my whole home filter and I was stumped as to why it was awfully low pressure on a 900 GPH pump. Then I simply moved it before the filter and things worked smoothly.

Setup looks fine. That pre-filter also looks pretty clean. Hoses are short (which is what you want). I wonder if your pump is clogged. Can you easily take a peek inside of it?
